A little about me

My name is Matthew Mawdsley, I'm 23, and a programmer by trade. In my spare time I've been making web-sites with a mate under the name Metaware Design.

I enjoy:

• Mucking around with CSS (as you can tell)
• Learning new programming languages
• Creating useful things with the above
• The noise my keyboard makes

Using this web-site

This whole site is modelled on the very fantastic dwm as a bit of the exercise in what can be done with CSS when you conveniently forget that Internet Explorer is still about.

dwm divides your desktop into "views", and so it is here. Think of views as workspaces except with dwm you have the ability to view more than one view at a time.

Here's a breakdown of what's on each view:

• This window
• Emacs enticement
• Firefox fancies
• dwm delights
• Screenshot chicanery

You can navigate the views via the access keys, just press Alt and the number of the view. If your access key isn't Alt, then you've ruined the illusion.
